Hello, I’m Kate.

I recently graduated from the London College of Garden Design, completing a Garden Design Diploma with Distinction.

Prior to this, I worked as a Chartered Surveyor in Asset Management for a large Financial Services firm in the City. In this role I developed the strong problem-solving and project management skills required to overcome the obstacles of managing large multi-disciplinary teams. In my past role, attention to detail was critical, along with working to a budget and a tight timeline.

After 12 successful years in the City, I made the exciting decision to undertake the advanced training that would turn my passion for helping friends and family create elegant and functional spaces from a hobby into a full-time career.

My passion for plants and gardening started in my grandmother’s garden many years ago. Following annual family outings to Chelsea and Hampton Court Flower Shows I quickly became fascinated by garden design and I have always had an interest in spatial planning and understanding how people use spaces which led me to read Architectural Studies at The Bartlett, UCL. I love the outdoors and the change in seasons and it is wonderful to work in an industry where this can really be celebrated.

I am a pre-registered member of the Society of Garden Designers.

I live in Petts Wood, and work across South and South East Greater London, Kent and Sussex.
